I can’t believe it’s already been a year since we last visited Inspired Overland for their last meet. Now it’s their 2nd year anniversary and we’re back in Hayward celebrating their achievements in roof top shelters. This year they opted for a daytime meet (which we preferred due to the commute to the bay from Sac), but the forecast called for a heavy weekend storm. Well, I guess you can say we “weathered” the storm since it was clear 90% of the meet thankfully. Shout out to Mother Nature!

We arrived during vendor roll-in and were greeted by an active parking lot already filling up. After setting up we saw a ton of trucks pull up throughout the day. The entire center was filled with dope rigs and even had two food trucks for all the attendees. It was nice to see the community pop out even though the weather was trivial.

This event marked my first time bringing the Sequndra out. Other than the horrendous gas mileage, she did well on the round trip, and all the space the Sequoia provides allowed me to transport the entire PURE 4x4 booth and merchandise. It was funny to see everyone’s reaction when they realized it was a Sequoia and not a Tundra lol. I plan to have a few more mods on the rig before the next meet next month.

It was awesome to meet everyone who came by our booth! And it’s always great seeing our other vendor friends like Trail Wolves, Highland Trail Club, and Mox Motors. We noticed lots of familiar and new faces traveling from the valley to the bay. This was our first event bringing our new game PURE LUCK and it was great to see everyone’s interest.
