Rodeo x Rigs 4
Our friends at Trail Wolves (@trailwolves) had invited us for the fourth iteration of their huge Rodeo x Rigs (@rodeoxrigs) meet! Being from NorCal I personally had sadly missed the first 3 meets, so I made sure not to miss this one and booked my flight right away.
Two days before the meet we actually also linked up with our friends Mark Enriquez (@sh0tw3ll) and Izzy (@izzyfilmedthis) along with the rest of the MRKD Studios gang (@mrkdstudios) to film a trailer for our upcoming Basecamp 5.0 event in Big Bear. I ended up driving Shadow’s GX470 (@simplegx470) and met up with Roland (@pure_t4r), Richard (@pure_bd), and Eman (@gx.jeep). It was crazy experience seeing the production and direction behind the scenes. It was also quite the experience “acting” (or at least trying to) in some of the scenes. I couldn’t thank MRKD Studios enough for their hard work and genius talent!
As for the meet itself -INSANE. Vendors were set to begin rolling in at 7 AM to set up, and by that time the venue was already packed. Granted the venue itself isn’t super huge, it was still a sight to see nearly every single parking spot filled with a rig. The location itself, Steelcraft Brewery (@steelcraft), is a first for the Rodeo x Rigs series yet provided for such a fresh and lively atmosphere. I really loved how they had the pavilion in the center of all the various food and drink vendors, along with their modern industrial theme throughout.
Sadly I was so tied up catching up with everyone that I wasn’t able to take as many photos as I wanted. But I know there’s plenty of media out there from the event.
Big shout out to Jason Flores (@trailwolf460) and the whole Trail Wolves / Rodeo x Rigs team for putting on such a great event for the community! We can’t wait for the next one!
