Anthony’s Lexus GX460
Northern California has been getting hit with non-stop storms causing snowpack levels to be well above average for this time of year. While everyone is being advised to stay home, of course we’re doing the opposite and heading straight into the storm.
But who could resist all this fresh pow? We were lucky enough to catch San Jose native Anthony Rama (@radproduxions) with his family Jen and Jayden coming down from their Lake Tahoe snowboarding trip in their Lexus GX460. I swear they just got this thing bone stock not too long ago, yet it seems every part on this thing has been touched!
We decided to meet near Dutch Flat, CA to avoid the potential road closures near Truckee. This area was only roughly 40 minutes north of Sacramento , but already had heavy snowfall and temps under 30 degrees.
The presence was definitely felt when the GX pulled up. My personal favorite parts on Anthony’s GX were the front and rear bash bars that were subtle yet still provided the protection needed for the trails. After going through the rig you could immediately tell that everything was well thought out prior to putting everything together. This is the perfect overland build where you can take the family out on roadtrips while still being extremely capable on getting toyour destination safely.
Hats off to Anthony for the attention to detail and excellent execution on the GX. I can’t wait to see what’s next in store for it!
