Eagle Lakes
May 31st marks the first day the ol’ 4runner has seen a trail. We decided to venture to the popular Eagle Lakes / Fordyce area not knowing what we were really getting into. We were greeted with beautiful greenery and amazing water-filled trails. Of course we got lost and ended up on the difficult Fordyce trail meant for advanced rigs. We looped back and decided to set up basecamp by the river to bbq and hang out. Our exit was the same way we came in, so we were able to pass through the water trails once again with smiles from ear to ear. It was a great opportunity to test out the limits of our rigs whether they were stock or modded. We learned that the Signal Peak trail can also be accessed from the same staging area where we began. We will for sure back for more in the near future!
