PURE 4x4 Maui Fundraiser
In response to the recent tragedies in Maui, we wanted to organize a fundraiser with Elk Grove Toyota with the goal to help raise funds for the Lahaina fire victims. Our brothers and PURE members @pure_tacomaldrin and @danzdilinger were directly affected with their hometown being Lahaina, Maui. Their homes are now gone and family members are still unaccounted for.
This event was nothing like we’ve hosted before. The amount of emotion, love, and support was like no other. It brings me to tears typing this as I reflect on everyone’s stories, feelings, generosity, and unparalleled patronage. This event was truly for the community, by the community.
Endless thanks to all the vendors that came out to support with either a raffle donation and/or a percentage of their proceeds being donated. We will provide a list below of who all participated in the event. Thank you to every person who helped put all the moving pieces together. Shouts to Ivan for DJing the event! Big shout out to Elk Grove Toyota for the hospitality. Thank you to each and every person for taking the time to attend. The lot was packed by 10:30 and it was crazy seeing trucks wrapped all the way around the Toyota lot. It was great seeing all the dope builds from around the area.
Ged Moya, owner of Optimum Advertising (Stockton, CA), generously sponsored 250 shirts for the event with 100% of the proceeds being donated. Guess how many we sold? ALL TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY SHIRTS. We will keep everyone posted on the total amount raised by next week, after the extended sale of the fundraiser shirts at Rodeo x Rigs 7 in Vallejo this Saturday 8/26.
All the funds raised will go to @hawaiicommunityfoundation “MAUI STRONG FUND” and also to the Domingo/Constantino/Mendoza Family Lahaina Fire fund.
